Foreign Minister commemorates Bastille Day
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, stressed the depth of friendly relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the French Republic, which is based on fondness, appreciation and joint cooperation to serve the interests of the two friendly countries and people.
This took place during a televised speech delivered by the Foreign Minister, to mark the celebration of the French Embassy to the Kingdom of Bahrain of Bastille Day.
In his speech, the Minister extended his congratulations to the French Republic and its friendly people on the occasion of Bastille Day. He also expressed his pride in the development of strong bilateral relations between the two countries in all areas, which are considered an ideal example of relations between countries and people, in light of the keenness of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and President Emmanuel Macron of the French Republic to further these relations in ways that benefit their two countries and people.
Dr. Al-Zayani hailed the tangible efforts of the Ambassador of the French Republic to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard, and his keenness to promote and strengthen cooperation relations between the two friendly countries. He also noted the active and constructive role played by the French Republic in maintaining regional and international security and stability, wishing the French republic further development.
